90,000′ Book Launch of Great American Motorcycle Tours

Looking for motivation to pursue your dreams?  Check out what Gary McKechnie is up to.  He gave us a sneak preview during our podcast, posted on   Gary McKechnie on Living the Dream.

Gary-McKechnieIn the late 1990’s Gary felt adrift pursuing the American Dream, which was always a motivator for him. A friend asked him, if he didn’t have to worry about money, what would he do? His response was that he’d travel and write. Which is what he’s done. He realized he didn’t need to make a lot of money, just enough, doing what he loved doing.

Watch and enjoy this video of the literal launch of the 5th edition of his book Great American Motorcycle Tours. As you’ll see, this really was a “book launch.” To generate some buzz, it was suspended beneath a balloon and then sailed to an altitude of nearly 90,000 feet.

Gary thinks you’ll dig the combination of music, motion, captions, and some stunning views of our planet. The ultimate goal is to get a lot of views on YouTube, and if you can help by watching it here…

…and then leaving comments, sharing this with friends, or inviting total strangers over for a viewing, he’d appreciate it.

I’m carrying a copy with me on terra firma as I travel through the north western states.

Safe and adventuresome travels, wherever your road leads!
