While in Europe a few years ago it seemed the percentage of motorcycles, and scooters, vs. cars was much larger than here in the states. I also had the impression that the split between male and female riders was about even. Most obvious in Paris traffic.
Lots of differences in m/c culture, history, and even motorcycle models between NA and Europe. More reason to experience other parts of the world, and if you can do it – on two wheels!
