Today is Global Pay it Forward Day. The term denotes doing something good for someone in response to a good deed done to you. Then, instead of repaying the person who was generous to you, you do something nice for someone else.
One popular way to pay it forward to is pay for the coffee of the person behind you in line. But it doesn’t need to involve an outlay of cash. Paying it forward can be extending a simple act of random kindness to a stranger.
