Great stuff Liz… you truly are a force behind tomorrow’s women motorcyclists.
In 2015 when I headed up a trip to Italy for “Ladies First” motorcycle Tour, I have to say,, I truly enjoyed it. Have continued to work with women rider since then… and for this year on our first Tour to Iceland the Tour leader will be Beth Lavinder Williams. We are really looking forward to it. By pure coincidence… we have 3 women with reservations tour riding solo.
Thanks Bill. Our role models and pioneers go back a long way. I’m perplexed as to why this is unusual. Women have been leading and going on tours around the world for years. Many travel solo around the world. I’m glad to see the stereotypes falling away.
Hi Liz,
What a great experience you are truly an inspiration to so many people.
I am planning a similar trip to the states but am struggling with insurance, any tips?
keep up the good work
Tony
Hi Tony,
I’d suggest you look on the Horizons Unlimited forum: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hubb/ Insurance is so personal and depends on your age, health history, length of stay. You’ll have to shop around. Good luck!
